We’ve learned (via Anime News Network) that Persona 3 is getting yet another stage play adaptation in Japan.
The stage play will include both male and female protagonists from Persona 3 Portable. While previous stage adaptations have included both male and female protagonists, they’ve never had them in the same performance together. The new stage play is dubbed Persona 3: The Weird Masquerade ~Bismuth Crystal~.
You can find the cast listing below:
Shouta Aoi as Sakuya Shiomi (male protagonist)
Kana Asumi as Kotone Shiomi (female protagonist)
Shōichi Honda as Shūji Ikutsuki
Keisuke Ueda as Fallos (Pharos)
Hiroichi Matsumoto as Jin
Takeya Nishiyama as Takaya
ZAQ as Aegis (Aigis)
Waku Sakaguchi and Tomonori Suzuki as Ken Amada (double-cast)
Marina Tanoue as Fūka Yamagishi
Yuuki Fujiwara as Akihiko Sanada
Genki Okawa as Junpei Iori
Asami Tano as Mitsuru Kirijō
Maho Tomita as Yukari Takeba
It’s worth mentioning that the majority of the supporting characters, as well as the dual protagonists, are being reprised by the same actors that played them in the Persona 3: The Weird Masquerade ~Ultramarine Labyrinth~ stage play, which saw a run in Japan last September.
We’re unsure of what the differences between this play and the previous one are, but we’ll keep you guys posted.
