Persona 2 Innocent Sin Pulled From PSN Due To Exploit

According to a Thread at NeoGAF, Atlus’ classic PSP remake of Persona 2 Innocent Sin is being yanked from Sony’s digital download service over fear that it allows an exploit to be initiated.

This exploit, which allows for homebrew games and emulators to be run on the PS Vita, is nothing new. Several other games on many other systems were compromised in similar ways, most notably the infamous Twilight Princess hack for the Wii.

Though it’s assumed the game will be put back up after the exploit is patched, this isn’t the only PS Vita/PSP compatible game to contain such an avenue for hacks. Most, if not all PSP games that can be run on the Vita contain the ability to run similar hacks and this most likely won’t be the last time you hear of such a news story.

Thankfully I already have all of the Persona games on my Vita, as should our readers as well!
