• Pearl Abyss Acquires EVE Online Developer CCP Games

    Today, South Korean publisher Pearl Abyss announced that it had acquired CCP Games.

    As part of the deal, CCP Games will continue to operate semi-autonomously, but will use their knowledge of developing and publishing MMOs to assist Pearl Abyss in future projects.


    CCP Games are best known for EVE Online, and the various spin-off games set in the same universe. Pearl Abyss are the developers behind Black Desert Online, as well as the upcoming Black Desert Mobile.
