Two new classic stages are returning in the Wii U and 3DS fighter: Hyrule Castle and Peach’s Castle from the Nintendo 64 original. While seeing iconic and classic stages returning is quite awesome, Sakurai revealed the new stages with a disclaimer:
“I don’t think we can add too many more stages.”
So this is somewhat of a hint to fans, perhaps we’re not going to see that many new stages added to the game on Wii U and 3DS? It’s worth mentioning the footage (seen here) doesn’t appear to be any different from the original stages – although we might see a revamp for each later?
