It appears Konami is readying a bevy of PC ports for several classic Metal Gear games including Metal Gear, Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance, and more.
The news comes from Windows PC ratings (via Gematsu) listed on the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee for Metal Gear, Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance, and Konami Collector’s Series: Castlevania and Contra.
While Metal Gear launched way back in 1987 for the MSX 2, its successor Metal Gear Solid launched for the PlayStation in 1998. Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance was released with various enhancements in 2002. Lastly, Konami Collector’s Series: Castlevania and Contra was originally launched for PC in 2002 as well. It includes games that are also available in both the Contra and Castlevania anniversary collections.
