PAYDAY 3 launched last month and it has been marred by issues as players struggle to even be able to play the game in some circumstances.

As a result, the PAYDAY 3 Steam reviews are currently at a an abysmal 39% at the time of this writing.

The first major patch that was supposed to fix some of these issues was set to release on October 5th, but unfortunately for fans, they’ll have to wait a little bit longer.

Starbreeze Studios announced the patch would be delayed into mid-October. The delay was from the team wanting to ensure its stability and that some changes were made that require them to go through console certification once again.

This is unfortunate news that many will have to wait longer just to have a chance for a good gaming experience. Also, PlayStation 5 owners of PAYDAY 3 also must wait until then before they’re even able to redeem their bonus content.

PAYDAY 3 is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store).
