PAYDAY 3 removes Denuvo DRM from PC version

PAYDAY 3

In the same day that Lies of P has covertly added Denuvo to the game, PAYDAY 3 has removed it.

On a recent Twitter/X post, the official account for the PAYDAY game has announced the removal of Denuvo from the heist simulator.

For those unfamiliar, Denuvo is an anti-piracy method, known to damage solid state drives and impact general game performance, essentially punishing paying users for the sins of pirates.

It is also worth noting that Denuvo gets constantly cracked, and pirates will essentially play a more stable version of the game, unlike paid users.

PAYDAY 3 is set to release September 21 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Microsoft Windows (via Steam and Epic Games Store).
