Payday 2 Coming to Nintendo Switch

Overkill Software has announced Payday 2 is coming to Nintendo Switch later this year.

The game revolves four players planning and then partaking in various bank heists. More info about this specific version of the game will be revealed closer to launch.

Payday 2 is currently available for PC, Linux, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.

    Isn’t Payday 2 still regularly played by a lot of people? There must be some audience for a port I guess.

    A decent amount, but I don’t know how well the community will transfer.

    There’s also just as much, if not more, negativity towards the devs.

    I do vaguely remember some sort of controversy regarding the devs.

    If I recall correctly, they said they would never do microtransactions, but then, they filled the game with it anyway.

    The franchise went back to the OG creators, and they removed the microtransactions.

    They keep adding the bad kind of overpriced DLC that isn’t even good and have worse versions of the lootboxes from Overwatch.

    The switch is actually getting games unlike the Wii U woah.

    It just might be the Nintendo console I’ve wanted since the gamecube. Solid 3rd party and great 1st party.
