Publisher HypeTrain Digital and developer Ice-Pick Lodge announced a release date for Pathologic 3, the next entry in their narrative first-person RPG series.
Pathologic 3 is launching first on Windows PC (via Steam) early next year, on January 9th, 2026. Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 versions will come later.
A new playable demo was released today as well, as part of the latest Steam Next Fest.
Here’s a rundown on the previously announced game, plus a new trailer:
Pathologic 3 continues the cult series about a mysterious plague in a distant steppe city. It’s a psychological detective story: you play as Daniil Dankovsky, a metropolitan physician who arrives to meet an “immortal” man, but is forced to lead the fight against the epidemic and try to save the city in just 12 days.
In this psychological horror game, you are a doctor with only 12 days to save a town from a mysterious plague. Make ruthless decisions and diagnose with precision. Shape the town’s future and rewrite the past. Hold yourself together while it all falls apart.
