BKOM Studios has announced Pathfinder: Gallowspire Survivors, a new Vampire Survivors-like game set in the Pathfinder universe.

The new roguelite-action game is launching sometime in 2023 for Windows PC (via Steam).

Enter Gallowspire – the legendary tower of darkness in Pathfinder’s world of Golarion. Here, the lich-emperor Tar-Baphon, one of Golarion’s most ancient and powerful villains, remains sealed away while plotting his inevitable return. But as the wards that contain him begin to fail, three fearless heroes will rise to the occasion, condemning themselves to the hopeless task of venturing into Gallowspire’s depths to defeat Tar-Baphon and repair the wards that seal him away.

Reaching Tar-Baphon will be no simple task: The Whispering Tyrant’s legion of undead and fiends stand between the heroes and their destination — with a diverse array of powers which will challenge their prowess at every turn.

But even then, one victory won’t be enough to seal the Lich away forever. The heroes must face him many times to forestall his return for as long as possible. And when the heroes fall, they rise again, ever stronger… to face Gallowspire’s hordes once more, for as long as it takes.

Run the Gauntlet

Delve into battle against an overwhelming horde of diverse and foul enemies, featuring a plethora of unique attributes and types. Then face Gallowspire’s deadly bosses, each featuring their own array of vile powers and tricks. You’ll need to defeat them all in a single adventure to claim victory.

Three Heroes Step Forth

Prepare your three legendary heroes who shall stand together against the tower’s darkness:

• The Fighter – a paragon of defense, strength, and martial skill. With an arsenal of diverse and deadly weapons at their disposal and their gleaming shield raised in defense, they are deadly from afar, and even deadlier up close.
• The Rogue – Cunning, agile, and elusive. They don’t want a fair fight, and will use anything they can get their hands on, be it martial or magical, to annihilate their foes and exploit their weaknesses.
• The Wizard – An offensive powerhouse and glass cannon. Their array of spells let them determine how to keep their foes at a distance, whether it be by lightning, ice, fire, or freezing time itself.

Choose Your Companion

You won’t have to face the darkness alone. Choose one of your other heroes to join your main hero as a companion while adventuring. They will stand alongside you on the battlefield, offering protection and firepower.

Your companions will be as powerful as you have grown them to be. Level up all of your characters to always have a powerful ally ready to assist you for the challenges ahead. You’ll need all the help you can get, after all…

Remember, a lich is never defeated for long. Defeating the Whispering Tyrant once will be a great accomplishment in itself, but you’ll need to defeat him more than once to buy the world of Golarion the time it needs to prepare for his inevitable return. Are you up to the task?
