Free-to-play action RPG Path of Exile has done a good job at avoiding the pitfalls some other F2P games fall victim too, and it’s continued success is a testament to how well the payment model works when done correctly. Continuing this success, developer Grinding Gear Games has announced that their newest expansion to the game, titled “The Awakening”, is due out this July 10th. Accompanying the announcement was an official trailer that you can watch below:

The game has already had two expansions, which were Sacrifice of the Vaal and Forsaken Masters, both of them being released just last year. This new “Awakening” expansion will add an entirely new act that has you fighting the beast that gave Dominus his ungodly power.
