Grinding Gear Games have announced ExileCon- a convention centered around Path of Exile.

The convention shall run from November 16th to November 17th at the Aotea Centre in Auckland, New Zealand.

The event promises to be a “celebration of all things Path of Exile, including multiple earth-shaking announcements and previews, competitions, talks given by Grinding Gear Games developers, and hands on demos of unreleased new content.” The event is then capped off with The ExileCon Party.

Specifically, the event will announce the details of the 3.9.0 December 2019 expansion, and the 4.0.0 “mega expansion.” In addition, Grinding Gear Games will offer developer talks, and the finals of the Race Tournament will take place (though the event will be streamed online for free).

Tickets come in several varieties; Regular, VIP and “Ultra VIP.” Regular tickets grant access to the ExileCon party, one drink voucher, and “Exclusive Digital Microtransactions.”

The VIP tickets offer everything the Regular tickets do, but also “Priority queueing for game demos and merchandise shop, VIP seating at the front of auditorium during the event,” and a VIP dinner with the developers on November 15th.

The Ultra VIP ticket offers all of the above, plus “A home-cooked kiwi-style BBQ dinner with GGG Founders Chris, Jonathan, Erik, and maybe a few special guests.” This dinner takes place on November 18th.

As of this time of writing, there are 312 regular tickets remaining, while the VIP and Ultra VIP tickets are already sold out. Regular tickets are $200 USD, while the VIP and Ultra VIP tickets are $500 USD and $1,000 USD respectively.
