Paradise Lost: First Contact is a new Kickstarter funded indie game coming out from Spanish developers Asthree Works. It is a revolutionary stealth based game where you play as an intelligent life form that landed on earth.
The plant-like creature is taken to a secret bio-engineering facility where it is being tested and researched. A security breach allows the creation to escape and from there you begin to search and try to find a way to escape from the facility.
In the game you have to remain hidden from scientist and security guards. There are different ways to stay hidden using abilities that the character yields that players unlock throughout the game.
Asthree Works promise that the skills you unlock throughout the game will allow the player to develop their own gaming strategy.
The game is going to be a non-linear type game in which the player will find many areas that are inaccessible at first. To escape the facility you will have to use the new abilities and specific object.
Paradise Lost takes inspiration from game series such as Metal Gear, Metroid, Castlevania, and Oddworld. The game will focus on action and stealth, mixed in with platforming, puzzle solving, and some RPG.
The game will be released for the PC with plans of releasing for the PS3, PS4, Playstation Vita, and Wii U. There is currently no release date, but make sure to check back for more information.
