Not long after launching Pocketpair Publishing, the new publishing arm of Pocketpair has already received tons of inquiries from developers.
Within a week of launching their new publisher, Pocketpair Publishing received overwhelming inquiries from prospective game developers, including: 400 emails, 150 pitches, and over 2,000 LinkedIn requests.
“We are blown away by the interest we have received from you, the developers, and we’re doing our best to review each request and pitch,” the publisher said. “Of course, we cannot help everyone, but we’re determined to help as many great games get made as possible.”
The publisher was announced alongside their first title, a new horror game by Tales of Kenzera: ZAU developer Surgent Studios, which is set for a 2025 release.
Pocketpair comms director and publishing manager John Buckley followed-up to the news of their overwhelming response.
“Thank you everyone for your interest in Pocketpair Publishing!,” Buckley said. “Our first week going public has been unbelievable! Of course, this is really only the beginning but we’ll do our best to help as many people as we can!
If we dive a bit further into Buckley’s social media shenanigans, we can also confirm that Pocketpair Publishing has already signed two other games alongside the “Surgent game” we knew from before.
