The Kickstarter campaign for Tinker Games’ ambitious 2D action game, Pale Blue, has already blown passed the halfway point.
For those who missed our original report on the game, Pale Blue is a 2D, side-scrolling action and stealth game that features a young, innocent and yet slowly corrupted girl. Instead of fighting to get out of the horrific laboratory that implanted a dangerous, uncontrollable weapon inside her body, she decides that she likes the power, and that she wants to embrace it.
The game features some downright amazing 2D animations, stuff that you’d normally see in well inked anime featuring similar situations, although it’s rare to see such a focus on the grotesque and deadly. The protagonist, Ellen, explodes with power and ferocity and it’s simply mesmerizing and downright terrifying to witness at the same time.
Right now Pale Blue is sitting at roughly $32,000 dollars, and their funding goal rests at $48,000 dollars – with just over two weeks left. Not only will they be funded, but hopefully they’ll announce some stretch goals as well.
If you haven’t backed Pale Blue on Kickstarter, you should head on over to their Kickstarter campaign.
