Hero shooter Paladins somehow outlasted Overwatch’s original release while still maintaining a decently-sized playerbase, and that’s nothing to scoff at.
The game just announced its 6th season, showing no signs of stopping. With a new season come a new champion, Nyx, Queen of the Abyss, who seems to be the poster girl for the new content drop.
You can read some more about the new hero below:
In the far past, Nyx was once a Pyre Lord, working alongside Azaan and others in the seemingly eternal fight against the chaotic Abyss. Over time, she found herself disillusioned with the ways of the Pyre and their rigid controlling dogmas – so content to throw away countless lives in their endless wars. She would show the Pyre the power of freedom, true freedom.
The Emergence season 6 update is adding Nyx, the new hero, new cards, new talents, a new season pass and many other unlocks, including time-limited game modes.
Paladins is a free-to-play game available on PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store), Xbox One, PS4, and the Nintendo Switch.
