The release for PAC-MAN WORLD Re-Pac is just around the corner, so Bandai Namco shared the game’s opening cinematic.

In PAC-MAN WORLD Re-Pac, Pac-Man must go on an adventure to Ghost Island in order to save his family who have been kidnapped by the villainous “Tockman”. Not only were they kidnapped, but his poor family has been kidnapped on his birthday!

Ghost Island will have six regions to explore, all with their own gimmicks and boss to face off against at the end of the stage. Pac-Man will travel to a Pirate Ship, Ancient Ruins, Space, a Funhouse full of clowns, and even a machine factory as he seeks out to be reunited with his loved ones.

PAC-MAN WORLD Re-Pac will also have three different modes to play: Quest Mode, Maze Mode, and the Original Mode! The main story will be told through the Quest mode, you will play through a 3D adventure as Pac-Man.

But while you’re in each region, be prepared for Maze Mode, a modern day look at the classic Pac-Man maze in beautiful 3D! Then when you’re all finished with the game, you can return to play Original Mode, and enjoy some classic Pac-Man gameplay!

Pac-Man will have a full arsenal of abilities to use to navigate the world and take down his enemies, including Dive attacks, ranged attacks either as a single shot (Pack Dot Attack) or as a scattershot (Bomb Attack). Not to mention the ability to dash, and glide through the air as well.

PAC-MAN WORLD Re-Pac releases on August 26, 2022 for Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
