Pac-Man 99

Nintendo has announced they’re delisting Pac-Man 99 from the Nintendo Switch.

The Switch-exclusive, 99-player multiplayer game is getting removed from the console and its Nintendo Switch Online service on October 8th. Here’s the schedule for the game being shut down:

  • August 8, 2023 (Tue) 8:00 AM PDT / 11 AM EDT – Discontinued content: Paid custom themes
  • September 8, 2023 (Fri) 8:00 AM PDT / 11 AM EDT – Discontinued content: PAC-MAN 99 Deluxe Pack / PAC-MAN 99 Mode Unlock
  • October 8, 2023 (Sun) 9:00 PM PDT / 12 AM EDT – Discontinuation of online services for the main game / distribution of the main game and free custom themes

While online features will get totally shut down, users that own any downloadable content for the game will be able to still enjoy CPU BATTLE, BLIND TIME ATTACK, and SCORE ATTACK in offline mode.

Lastly, any themes or purchased content will be usable and/or re-downloaded after the game is totally shut down.
