Ore no Shikabane wo Koeteyuke 2, or as it’s known in English – Over My Dead Body 2, has finally gotten a release date in Japan. The title will launch for Playstation Vita on July 17th, and it will be available both in retail and via the Playstation Network.
The game will cost 5,800 yen at retail and 5,184 yen via the Playstation Network. Also, a first run limited edition will be available that comes with the game, a PS Vita pouch and designer sticker, a strap, a cleaning cloth, and that will set you back 7,800 yen.
Pre-orders for the game will come with a special comic book that features interviews with the game designer Shoji Masuda, as well as other staffers from developer Alfa System. First print copies of the game (both retail and digital) will come with a download code for a “Rare God” that can be redeemed in game.
A trial version of the game will be released on April 24th, while a full demo that will let you sample the beginning of the game will be coming in early July. As expected, progress from the trial or demo will be transferable to the full game when it launches.
