OtherSide Entertainment is working on a new game, led by Warren Spector – the creator behind iconic classics like System Shock and Deus Ex.
The new game is described as “an immersive simulation based on a completely new intellectual property developed by OtherSide.” The news that OtherSide Entertainment is working on a new game was confirmed by Spector and another veteran developer and co-founder Paul Neurath.
“It feels great to be working with a talented team on a new title and new IP,” OtherSide Entertainment chief creative officer Spector said in a press release.
He added, “Fans of my work already know what to expect: an immersive world and engaging narrative that players will directly impact through their choices and playstyles. We are still in early development and are looking forward to sharing more information soon!”
OtherSide Entertainment also appointed veteran game executive Jeff Goodsill as General Manager of the company, where he will lead their growth and oversee production of their upcoming games for PC and next-gen consoles – which includes Spector’s newly announced game.
“I am honored to be working with the industry luminaries at OtherSide. Paul, Warren, and their teams have played pivotal roles in creating and advancing the immersive sim genre,” said Jeff Goodsill. “I’m joining a passionate team working on exciting projects and I can’t wait to see what we can accomplish.”
“Jeff brings a wealth of proven experience managing high-performance development studios. We are thrilled to have him join our executive team,” said OtherSide CEO Paul Neurath.
“As an advisor, Jeff has already made us a more effective development studio,” added Warren Spector, Chief Creative Officer at OtherSide Entertainment.
