An anime adaptation of Otaku Elf will premiere this April as part of the Spring 2023 anime season.

Otaku Elf follows the story of the Takamimi Shrine, its shrine maiden Koito Koganei, and of course its resident deity: the centuries old elf Elda.

Elda was summoned to Japan hundreds of years ago and has lived as the Takamimi Shrine’s enshrined deity ever since. The only problem is that instead of composing herself with grace befitting a goddess, she’s addicted to anime and video games.

The series is the latest from studio C2C whose previous work includes Wandering Witch, Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy, and more recently Handyman Saitou in Another World.

The manga for the series is licensed in English by Seven Seas Entertainment. The series will premiere on April 7.
