OSome Studios Discuss Their Old-School Survival Horror, White Night

White Night launched on March 3, and maybe Activision want to remind us that it still exists, because the publishers have put out a new video in which developers at OSome Studios discuss their first game. White Night is about a man who, after a crash, tries to find help in an old manor.

The developers say that their hope with the game was to create an old-school survival horror with next-gen features. The game’s direction emulates old movies, the environments are based on 1930s styles, aesthetics are inspired by German Expressionism, and the gameplay takes after old survival horror games, according to OSome. White Night doesn’t lack for context.

The game will take a turn for the supernatural once players reach the attic and discover that ghosts haunt the abandoned house, and apparently there’s dancing!

You can watch the interview video above.

White Night is now available for Windows, Linux, and Mac PCs through Steam, Xbox One, and Playstation 4.
