It has been revealed that the newest arc in Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokokari’s popular Oshi no Ko manga will be the last as the series is coming to an end.

The latest and final story arc, called “Hoshi ni Yume ni” (Toward the Stars and Dreams), will debut on June 27 in Shueisha‘s Weekly Young Jump magazine. For this, the manga will get a short hiatus on June 20, and start Oshi no Ko’s final arc on the 30th issue.

The announcement was made in Shueisha’s Manga Plus service, where it published Chapter 152. In a related announcement, the second season for the anime adaptation was confirmed to air on July 3rd and simulcast in 35 stations in Japan, along with streaming service ABEMA Japan.

An advanced screening event for the anime will be held on June 30 at Marunouchi Picadilly in Tokyo, and will be streamed live on ABEMA. The event will be held in two parts, with the first part featuring a stage greeting and the second part has a roundtable discussion with the five main cast members.
