While the original protagonist from the Pokemon series, colloquially known as “Red”, has had various toys and merchandise created in his image, the rival (Blue for the west or Green for Japan) you originally faced off against hasn’t gotten as much love – until now.

Toymaker Kotobukiya has announced a new figure based on the iconic rival, which also appeared in the Pokemon TV anime as Gary, the son of Professor Oak.

The figure stands at 1/8th scale and comes with his signature Pokemon, Eevee. Here’s some more shots of the figure:

Here’s a few shots comparing him to the original protagonist (which is also available via the manufacturer).

Pre-orders are available now via the Kotobukiya store, for 8,500 yen. Shipping is expected to go down sometime in September.
