• Original Deus Ex Composer Working on New Retro Studios Game

    We might finally get a look at whatever new game Nintendo subsidiary Retro Studios are currently working on.

    The news comes via original Deus Ex and Unreal Tournament composer Alexander Brandon, who confirmed his involvement on the game on his Facebook page:

    “I’m currently working with Retro Studios here in Austin. As much as I’d like to say more (except the work is incredibly exciting and the team is awesome), I can’t.”

    That’s all we have to go on for now, unfortunately. Previously, we reported on a source close to a new Metroid project being developed for the Nintendo Switch. It’s highly possible that Brandon is working on that very same game, at Retro Studios.

    Retro Studios’ most recent game was Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze for the Wii U, so it’ll be interesting to see what Nintendo property they’ve been working on now.
