Microsoft and developer Moon Studios have announced the release date for Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition.
The upcoming enhanced version of the studio’s gorgeous platformer will release on March 11th for Xbox One and PC.
“There is a great story sequence throughout Black Root Burrows where you’re discovering the past of Naru, the mother character,” executive producer Mark Coates said to Xbox Wire.
“You discover her roots, where she came from, and you learn a bit more about her as a character and why maybe she is compelled to do some of the things that she does later on in the game. It’s all interwoven with the already-existing story.”
Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition adds a large new playable area, the Black Root Burrows; new methods of solving puzzles, defeating enemies, and traversing the regions, and an expanded theater mode, which lets you view all of the game’s cutscenes, as well as its trailers, concept art, and more.
