Argent, the developer of Order Us! revealed that fans have been turning out to buy the game on itchi.io and even leaving tips after the game was unceremoniously banned from Steam.

We previously reported on the game’s ban from Steam, despite featuring characters over the age of 18 Steam decided to ban the product. In recent years Steam has increasingly been breaking their past promise when it comes to content moderation.

If you’re a player, we shouldn’t be choosing for you what content you can or can’t buy. If you’re a developer, we shouldn’t be choosing what content you’re allowed to create. Those choices should be yours to make.

With that principle in mind, we’ve decided that the right approach is to allow everything onto the Steam Store, except for things that we decide are illegal, or straight up trolling.

However thanks to itchi.io, Argent has been able to sell their game in spite of Steam’s market dominance.

The ban is especially confusing as Steam regularly features games such as SEX with HITLER on the front page for users enabled to see adult content.
