Gaming Factory S.A. and developer DeSand have announced Lands of Raynar, a next generation open world first-person RTS RPG.
As stated in the press release (via email), the game hopes to take “a fresh approach to sandbox solutions.” Players control Karia, one of the last people left in the fallen lands. She is accompanied by a mystical fawn called Ivy, on a quest to discover “the dark past, mysterious objects and the mythical creature known as Mórrí.”
The game will also boast a “knowledge system;” learning about the world via scouts and spies, eventually creating an information network.
The developers are focusing on the single-player story mode, but also “considers the introduction of multiplayer options.” While the game is confirmed for next generation consoles and Windows PC, “Gaming Factory S.A. does not rule out that the game will also appear on the Nintendo console.”

Lands of Raynar launches 2022 for Windows PC (via Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X.
