Electronic Arts and DICE have announced the launch date for Battlefield 1’s open beta.
Fans will be able to partake in older warfare on August 31st, across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. If you sign up as a Battlefield Insider and select a platform of choice before August 21st, you’ll be eligible to enter the open beta.
Fans can expect the open beta to include both the Rush and Conquest modes, as well as the Sinai Desert map, which features a new controllable Armored Train behemoth, as well as horses (that you can ride, naturally) and three new elite classes (including Sentry, Flame Trooper, and Tank Hunter). This map supports up to 64 players.
Featured above, Electronic Arts released the shooter’s new Gamescom 2016 trailer, in celebration of the open beta news.
Battlefield 1 is launching across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 21st.
