Nintendo has announced (via NintendoEverything) that Valhalla Game Studios’ debut title, Devil’s Third, will get its online multiplayer shut down prior to the end of this year.
The game’s online multiplayer will be shut down on December 1st, Japan time. The game’s microtransactions will also be shut down on June 27th of this year, while its download version will still be available on the eShop.
The brutal and oftentimes explicit third person action game / shooter was picked up by Nintendo as a third-party exclusive, following publisher woes Tomonobu Itagaki and crew experienced at Valhalla prior to its release.
It’s worth mentioning this announcement is only for Japan, however the North American and European announcements are probably coming at some point, unfortunately.
