With the recent increased interest in handheld PCs, it’s no surprise that more companies have been creating products within this space. OneXPlayer has actually been in the market for longer than most and already have their OneXPlayer Mini PCs out for sale for a while now.
Now they’ve introduced a brand new iteration for their handhelds with the OneXPlayer 2 Pro. And they did so with a special limited edition themed after the popular anime series, Neon Genesis Evangelion.
The handheld takes the design made famous by the main protagonist’s mech suit with purple combined with green accents spread throughout.
The latest handheld also features some powerful hardware with the Ryzen 7 7840U processor and a 8.4 inch 2560×1600 resolution screen. One of the unique features is the detachable controllers, similar to those found on a Nintendo Switch.
As this also works as a windows PC, the company showed it with a keyboard, revealing how users may be able to shift from gaming to productivity with this machine. No release date was given for the OneXPlayer 2 Pro with this announcement.
