D3 Publisher has announced (via Hachima) a new game in the latest Famitsu.

Dubbed simply Schoolgirl Zombie Hunter, the upcoming spinoff is set within the Onechanbara series (pictured above), and is in development for PlayStation 4 by Japanese studio Tamsoft.

The game will reportedly have lots of “sexy elements” included, with five main ladies to choose from. Players will be able to fight and learn at the Kirisaku High School, a prestigious military academy that is suddenly overrun with zombies.

You’ll also be able to see Anna from the Onechanbara series, with her drone making an entrance dropping off supplies and weapons. The five main ladies include:

• Risa Kubota (Voice: Saori Onishi)
  • Preferred Weapon: Assault Rifle/Naginata
• Sayuri Akiba (Voice: Asuka Ogame)
  • Preferred Weapon: Handgun/Wooden Sword
• Mayaya Himeji (Voice: Chinami Hashimoto)
  • Preferred Weapon: Sub-Machinegun/Bat
• Enami Kamijo (Voice: Sayaka Senbongi)
  • Preferred Weapon: Sniper Rifle/Kick Attacks
• Rei Kanazaki (Voice: Kaori Ishihara)
  • Preferred Weapon: Shotgun/Karate

Finally, it’s worth mentioning there is a clothing destruction system where the girls’ outfits are ripped apart as they get attacked by zombies. They’ll go from fully clothed to only wearing their underwear, with zombies reacting to their nudity. You can even take off outfits and use them as decoys for hungry zombies.

Schoolgirl Zombie Hunter is set for a launch in Japan on January 12th.
