Publisher Laplacian and developer Sakasauma have announced One Room: Yui Hanasaka Memorial, a new visual novel based on the OneRoom anime series.

One Room: Yui Hanasaka Memorial is set to launch on January 11th, 2025 for Windows PC (via Steam). The game will support Japanese, English, and Chinese languages.

Additionally, the staff behind One Room have teamed up once again to produce an entirely new project called “PROJECT OneLeaf.” Details on the new project are scant though it will be a completely new anime that continues the series, as well as present new formats and include user-participation projects.

About the OneRoom Series:

The “OneRoom” series is known for its subjective viewpoint, where the viewer themselves is the protagonist,

and it features special days spent with the heroines. The series is in an omnibus format and depicts the unique and intimate relationships

between the protagonist and the heroines. The first season aired in 2017, the second in 2018, and the third in 2020.

With charming characters by popular illustrator Kantoku, stunning animation, a story more profound than one might expect from a short anime, and meticulous attention to fetishistic details, the series became a huge hit.

Yui Hanasaka’s Story:

Yui Hanasaka is the only heroine to appear in all seasons of the “OneRoom” series.

In the first season, she moves to Tokyo for her university entrance exams and meets the protagonist (you), who is her neighbor in the same apartment. Their bond grows as they spend special days together, and they eventually fall in love. In the second season, we follow their lives as university students and lovers.

Though they argue and face insecurities, their relationship strengthens.

In the third season, the couple faces a major turning point as they transition into working adults.

In this game, you can revisit the story from the second season and experience the third season’s events.
