Bandai Namco has announced that One Piece: Burning Blood is coming to Europe sometime next year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PS Vita.
While the announcement was only for Europe, we’re expecting the North American press release to come a bit later (time zone differences). Featured above, you can view the game’s western announcement trailer. We’ll update this article once we’ve gotten confirmation of a North American release.
The Spike Chunsoft-developed game comes with fast-paced combat, and some unique aspects that only come with the One Piece series.
“Meeting our fans on public & private events is a good way to get feedback on our games and see what the expectations are,” said Bandai Namco Europe VP of marketing and digital Herve Hoerdt in a press release. “One Piece: Burning Blood is the perfect example of us creating a game impeccably in-line with fans’ desires. The long awaited pure fighting-game based on the One Piece universe is here! To add to that, we are quite happy to release the game on multiple platforms, especially on a Microsoft console, since it’s the first time ever for a One Piece game.”
The game was just announced recently at this year’s pre-Tokyo Game Show SCEJA press conference.
