Omega Labyrinth Life Heads to PC Uncensored on December 10

D3 Publisher have announced they will be bringing Omega Labyrinth Life to Windows PC via Steam. The news comes after it was discovered that the game had been rated for the platform in South Korea.

At the time we expressed concerns if the game would come to Windows PC uncensored. The dungeon crawling RPG has many sexual elements; such as character’s levels being represented by their bust size (changing as they level up), rubbing magical crystals between their chest to turn them into items, and “touch events” where the female characters can be in compromising positions while the player taps on various areas.

This content was censored in the PlayStation 4 version of the game- named Labyrinth Life. The game still earned an ESRB M for Mature rating in the US, and a PEGI 16 rating in Europe.

In addition, Steam (the likely platform prior to its confirmation) has had an unsteady relationship with adult and otherwise sexual content. Valve stated that it would “allow everything” on Steam (other than “trolling” or illegal content), after an error when working on a new adult filter system resulted in many adult game developers received messages stating they needed to remove adult content from their games or have them removed.

In spite of all this, it seems the game will be coming uncensored to Steam. The mature content description states the following:

“Omega Labyrinth Life is a Rogue-like RPG where female characters brave dungeons.

This game contains partial nudity, sexual themes, harsh language, and content that may not be suitable for all ages. Although it does not contain any graphic sexual content, it does have a mode where characters can be touched and as such may not be appropriate for the workplace.

*All characters in the game are over the age of 18.”

The game’s description also makes special mention that “This game is adapted from the Nintendo Switch version of Omega Labyrinth Life. Animations, artwork, and game mechanics are the same as Omega Labyrinth Life on the Nintendo Switch.” Even images on the game’s Steam store page seem to have button prompts from the Nintendo Switch version.
