Square Enix has announced the Octopath Traveler series has topped 6 million copies shipped and sold.

The new milestone was reached around seven and a half years since the original Octopath Traveler debuted back in 2018.

“The Octopath Traveler series has surpassed 6 million units sold worldwide,” the team said in a message. “To everyone who has been supporting us, thank you so much!”

Octopath Traveler 0 is the latest entry in the series, now available for PC (via Steam and Microsoft Store) Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, Switch 2, PS4, and PS5, since December 4th, 2025.

The previous two games, Octopath Traveler and Octopath Traveler II, are both 60% off on digital stores to celebrate the news.
