• Octopath Traveler series tops 5 million copies shipped and sold

    Square Enix has announced the Octopath Traveler series has topped 5 million copies shipped and sold.

    The new milestone was reached around six and a half years since the original Octopath Traveler debuted back in 2018. To celebrate the news, the games are 60% and 50% off on digital stores, respectively.

    The original Octopath Traveler hit 2.5 million copies shipped and sold back in 2021 and Octopath Traveler II hit 1 million copies in 2023, meaning another 1.5 million copies have been moved since then.

    To also celebrate the milestone, series illustration by designer Rika Okazaki prepped a new commemorative piece of art. Here’s a full look:
