We’ve learned that Square Enix has lots of other games in development for the Nintendo Switch.

The news comes via Octopath Traveler producer Tomoya Asano, who said in an interview (via Game Informer) the publisher “wants to focus on original titles for the Switch.”

He continued, “If Octopath Traveler does well and this is something that appeals to fans, we want to focus on Switch. Please pick up the Switch if you want to play games like Octopath Traveler.”

Asano was naturally asked if this means future Switch titles would be affected by the success of Octopath Traveler or if there were games already in development, he said “There are several other titles that we’re currently working on for Switch. If you could just wait a bit longer, we’ll work with Nintendo and announce them in the future.”

Octopath Traveler is launching for Switch on July 13th, worldwide.
