Young Horses have confirmed the final release date for Octodad: Dadliest Catch on Playstation 4. The game is coming next Tuesday, April 22nd in North America and on April 23rd in Europe. The game will cost $14.99, €13.99, respectively.
The Playstation 4 version of the game supports four brand new controller configurations that include a single Playstation Move, dual Playstation Moves, and a Playstation Move being paired with a Navigation controller. You can play the game in co-op mode, where up to four players can take control of each of Octodad’s appendages.
The story of Octodad encapsulates a “normal, everyday father with an adoring family,” who is hiding a terrible secret – he’s actually an octopus. The game boils down to an every day struggle to control his boneless limbs and try to act “normal.” You’ll see all kinds of wacky scenarios like a wedding in which Octodad has to casually walk down the aisle, or survive a disastrous trip to the aquarium.
