Nude Maker’s Crowdfunding Succeeds, NightCry Will be Coming to PC

With 33 hours to go, NightCry, A.K.A. Project Scissors, A.K.A. Clock Tower‘s spiritual successor, has achieved its base crowdfunding goal of $300,000, which means the game will be coming to PC in addition to smartphones, tablets, and the PS Vita.

For a little while, the crowdfunding effort seemed to be losing momentum, until Nude Maker yanked the spotlight back onto its project by adding home consoles as stretch goals. Those goals are very unlikely to be reached, but the move does appear to have garnered enough interest in the project to secure the primary objective.

In bonus NightCry news, recently unveiled concept art hinted that, while the point-and-click survival horror will start on a cruiser, it will end up on dry land. Nude Maker have since confirmed this is the case. The why and the how of that turn have not been revealed yet.

The video embedded at the top shows off the progress that the developers have thus far made on the game. Check it out.

If you were waiting for NightCry‘s crowdfunding for a PC version to succeed before chipping in, you can head over to Kickstarter now.
