In a departure from their typical approach to post-launch downloadable content, it seems like there won’t be a season pass for Mass Effect: Andromeda.
The news comes via BioWare general manager Aaryn Flynn, who responded to a fan asking whether or not a season pass was planned, on Twitter.
Flynn simply replied: “Nope.” When fans naturally asked if he could elaborate, and what kind of DLC was planned, he said: “We’ll talk more about that later.”
It’s worth mentioning that EA’s Titanfall 2 doesn’t have a season pass as well – perhaps this is a sign the times are changing?
Mass Effect: Andromeda will launch across PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on March 21st in North America and March 23rd in Europe.
