Marvelous have released a Series Overview trailer for No More Heroes III; separate from the earlier livestream.
As previously reported, aliens have invaded, and Travis must now enter the intergalactic superhero league to defeat them. Now armed with a Death Glove, he has new special skills that can be upgraded and customized to help carve through enemies, along with new forms.
While a previous livestream discussed the game’s features, the new trailer is an excerpt of the series overview. Unlike last time, the image of Travis Strikes Again‘s Metacritic page is blurred, and the gag about “reading the rest on Wikipedia” is also cut.
The second half of the trailer shows gameplay and scenes from No Mores Heroes III. For those who do not want to sift through the livestream, the new trailer helps focus on the most important information. The full livestream did reveal some of the minigames; including playing with Jeanne, and earning money by mowing lawns, and picking up trash from a river while avoiding alligators.
Long-time fans may notice Sylvia uses the phrase “Garden of Slaughter,” rather than her usual “Garden of Madness.” While this may hint at a greater mystery, it could merely be referring to how different it will be for Travis to fight aliens, rather than other humans.
