XSEED Games and Marvelous have announced the PC launch of No More Heroes and No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle. 

As stated in the press release, the games have been updated with HD visuals, 60FPS, Steam Cloud support, and other PC-specific features. Both games are available for $19.99 USD (£17.99 GBP, €19.99 EUR), and with 10% off until June 15th.

No More Heroes sees otaku and wrestling fanatic Travis Touchdown start as the #11 assassin of the United Assassins Association. Do odd jobs to earn enough cash to challenge the next ranked assassin and their henchmen in deadly beam katana battles; all to get laid.

The sequel meanwhile sees Travis dropping all the way to rank #51, and seeking revenge for his dead friend. Teaming up with Shinobu and Henry Cooldown, Travis now takes on 8-bit minigames to earn cash, and different kinds of beam katana to reign blood and chaos on foes.

Travis Touchdown here. It’s been three years since I clawed my way to #1 in the United Assassins Association. I thought it’d be fine to take it easy for a while after that, but it looks like I rested on my laurels a little too long. I found myself sliding down the ranks all the way to #51, and to make things worse, some other assassin—Skelter Helter—comes out and starts nagging my head off about me killing his brother or something. So yeah, a real pain in the you-know-what.
