Hello Games, the studio behind No Man’s Sky has released a browser version of their first ever game Joe Danger for free.
The free version of the original Joe Danger was announced by Hello Games founder Sean Murray on Twitter.
A far cry from their ambitious space simulator, Joe Danger is an action racing game more at home on a mobile phone than a desktop gaming rig.
Players ride, fly, and flip through stages of Evel Knievel style stages to reach the goal. Despite the difference in scope there’s only a three year difference between this funny little racing game and No Man’s Sky.
It’s good to see game devs give love to their older and smaller titles years later. Especially since these can be forgotten when you experience the kind of success that No Man’s Sky has.
While No Man’s Sky might be the biggest video game redemption story of the decade, going from lackluster release to critical acclaim thanks to the team’s dedication to the project.
The game might be free on your browser right now, but the iOS version still costs $1.99 with “in-app purchases”.
