Publisher Koei Tecmo and developer Team Ninja have announced the Nioh series has sold over 6 million copies, a new milestone including total worldwide sales.
The news that the Nioh series has sold over 6 million copies comes a few months after the previous milestone, which included five million copies sold worldwide and over two million copies sold for Nioh 2.
Alongside the news of the new sales is the PC / Epic Games Store release for both Nioh: Complete Edition and Nioh 2: The Complete Edition. It’s worth noting the former is free to download and keep until September 16th.
Anyone that buys or redeems the Nioh: Complete Edition will get the extra “Fujin Helmet” content, and anyone that buys the Nioh 2: Complete Edition will get the extra “Raijin Helmet.” Also, anyone that buys Nioh 2: Complete Edition before September 23 will get the extra “Sohaya Deserter Garb” and “Ornate Gold Armor” armor sets.
Nioh is currently available for Windows PC (via Steam), PlayStation 4. In case you missed it, you can find our thorough written and video review for the game here (we highly recommend it!). Nioh 2 is currently available for Windows PC (via Steam), PS4, and PS5.
