Koei Tecmo has shared new details for the coming post-launch updates for Nioh.
The new downloadable content updates will be made available free to all users, and they include: higher difficulty missions in late March 2017 – including 10 various missions, some with bosses; a player-versus-player component in late April 2017.
The first batch, dubed the “Dragon of Tohoku,” will come in late April and brings the following: new weapons, new characters, new yokai, new guardian spirits, new states, and new scenarios. These will be followed by the second DLC, “Japan’s Greatest Warrior,” and then by “Peace and Tranquility.”
Due to the game having big shortages in Japan, Koei Tecmo is making up for it by extending the free “Armor of Japan’s Greatest Warrior” from February 22nd to March 1st.
Nioh is currently available for PlayStation 4. Expect our thorough review forthcoming.
