Nintendo Switch’s Included Joy-Con Grip Doesn’t Charge Controllers

If you’re looking to charge your Joy-Cons while playing on the TV with Nintendo Switch, prepare to be disappointed.

Unlike the Joy-Con Charging Grips Nintendo is selling for 30$, the Joy-Con Grip included with every Nintendo Switch will not charge the system’s controllers. This leaves the console itself as the only way to charge the controllers out of the box. It’s worth mentioning Nintendo says the batteries last 20 hours.

Unlike most of the accessories for the Switch, however, the Charging Grip seems to be more decently priced. The Joy-Con Charging Grip releases with the console itself March 3rd.
