Nintendo of Canada has announced a price increase for the original Nintendo Switch family of systems and products in their region, due to changes based on “market conditions.”

The new price hike will affect the original Nintendo Switch, the Switch Lite, and Switch OLED models, as well as both physical and digital Switch games and Switch accessories. Actual information on the price changes will be announced on August 1st.

Other Nintendo products like the amiibo figurines and Nintendo Switch Online will also get price changes. It’s worth mentioning the price changes will not affect the Switch 2 and its games or accessories.
