Nintendo has announced Nintendo Switch Online is adding Donkey Kong Land 2 to its growing roster of classic games.

Originally released back in fall 1996 for the Game Boy, Donkey Kong Land 2 is a direct sequel to the 1995-released Donkey Kong Land (also released for Switch recently), also for the Game Boy. Previously the game was only ever ported to the Nintendo 3DS eShop.

Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack is part of the new subscription tier that launched in October 2021. It adds classic Nintendo 64 games, Sega Genesis games, and Game Boy games to Nintendo’s online service.
