• Nintendo Officially Ending Wii U Production in Japan

    Nintendo has announced that soon Wii U production will officially halt in Japan.

    The news was announced over on their official Japanese website (via Games Jouhou), in which the company stated both the Splatoon Set Wii U and Premium Set Wii U models (the only two SKUs available in Japan) are listed as “ending production soon (in the Japanese domestic market).”

    This comes after this month’s rumor that Nintendo would end production for the console – a move almost anyone expected after they finally revealed their Nintendo Switch console.
